The owners Laura and David's passion for cocktails began with converting and lovingly restoring a classic Rice horse trailer into The Starting Gate Bar. Having worked through COVID as paramedics they sought some much needed escapism and found it through mixology!

After two years of mixing it up they have branched out and are offering to share their knowledge and love of all things cocktails with their personalised classes! They provide a service that will help you to create a range of drinks from your chosen tipples as well as sampling some new ones. All tasters, equipment and glassware included...just turn up, learn how to shake your favourite cocktails and stir up some new flavours!
